Hungry? You will be after reading Allison Yeoh’s blog, Fondue of Life.

Allison describes herself as a “mystery, one that is fun and worthwhile solving”. One important piece of the puzzle is that she clearly enjoys two things: delicious food, and the photography thereof. I mean, look at this:

Doesn’t that look delicious? I’ve just had a fried egg sandwich but I could go for a plate of that bacon spaghetti right now for sure.

Allison has a very readable, easygoing, conversational style of writing and her pieces on various food establishments she’s taken the time to visit are interesting and informative. The pictures really help to get across the things she’s saying, too. Why just read about how juicy and succulent a piece of pork is, when you can see a mouthwatering picture of it, too?

I’ve also learned a few things about some types of food I’d never looked at before, including Korean food, a type of drink called a blog (yes, really) and a plate of “dog food”, which is not as bad as it sounds, and surprisingly, Canadians will be familiar with in a slightly different form.

So if you’re looking to work up an appetite or just want some inspiration for what to cook (or hunt down from your local restaurants), check out Allison’s blog for all your foodie needs.
