Imagine a very low power radio transmitter (around 150 milliwatts)

Imagine Morse code being sent very slowly (so that each ‘dot’ lasts six seconds) – It’s called QRSS

This sort of transmission is used to test propagation.  We run a QRSS station at the Martello Tower.

Today our signal was received for the first time, by someone in Italy.
