A Working Artist in Kentucky

This past weekend I attended a workshop on collage sponsored by the Kentucky Cancer Foundation and the Junior League. We did some writing prompts early — during which I remembered that I LOVE making baskets — and then we worked on covers for the sketchbooks we were given.   Patricia Ritter, the leader of the workshop, is a teaching artist from Kettle, Kentucky, who does it all: watercolors, pastels, acrylics, photography, murals, workshops, sign painting …   She also conducts workshops such as the one I attended for at-risk youth in the schools.   Visit her blog to see more about this vibrant Kentucky artist.
